SELF-RECOVERY SAFETY

No need to slow down or moderate the action. All you have to do is accelerate all the way up and the Spartan SR will take care of the rest.

RAZOR-SHARP CONTROL
The Spartan SR's V-shaped ABS shell carefully balances speed with agility for a truly exciting sailing experience. A new arrangement of the electronics and a new battery compartment concentrate the weight inside, along the centerline. The result is extremely precise handling, no-lift cornering and superior stability at high speeds.

SPEED OF +80KM/H
Smash the throttle trigger and the Spartan SR's VXL-6s marine propulsion system turns over 22 volts of LiPo power into furious acceleration. The high-performance propeller engages, putting the boat in line quickly and efficiently as it cuts through the water at speeds of 80km/h and beyond.

AUTOMATIC RIGHTING BY FLOOD CHAMBER
If the Spartan SR overturns, the flood compartment immediately begins to fill with water until the boat straightens. A molded foam insert in the bow provides buoyancy. Once the Spartan has righted itself, press the throttle to launch yourself and the water in the flood chamber will instantly exit through the back of the boat. It only takes a few seconds for the Spartan to be back in action.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE V-HULL
The Spartan's 914mm V-shaped hull gives the Spartan SR extra stability for cutting through chop and catching air above the waves. Constructed of lightweight ABS, the shell is designed to withstand the stresses of high-voltage brushless power. The molded foam is fitted inside the bow for additional flotation and stiffening of the hull.

SEALED COVER WITHOUT CLIPS
The injection-molded hood of the Spartan SR ensures exceptional rigidity and a precise fit. Locking nuts at all four corners hold the hatch firmly in place with a single turn. For quick access to electronics, simply unlock the nuts using the included hatch nut tool. No matter how intense the action, the hatch stays securely attached until you unlock it.

VXL-6S MARINE MOTOR SYSTEM
The Velineon brushless system delivers the extreme power you're looking for, combined with Traxxas' legendary reliability. The VXL-6s marine electronic speed controller exploits the full potential of the Velineon 540XL engine for top speeds in excess of 80 km/h. This 540XL brushless motor delivers impressive torque and high-end performance, all with minimal maintenance.

TQI RADIO SYSTEM
The high-performance Traxxas TQi 2.4GHz radio system ensures extended range, increased accuracy, and superior control. It's compatible with Traxxas Link, allowing you to optionally add the wireless module (part number: 6511, sold separately) to monitor your battery voltage, temperature, and even speed via your smartphone (sensors sold separately).

TRAXXAS STABILITY MANAGEMENT (TSM)

ELECTRONIC STAGE
The rigid turntable design of the Spartan SR ensures a secure attachment of the electronics and drive system, making them easy to remove and maintain. All you need to do is detach the steering linkage, flexible cable, and stern tube, then remove the screws to lift the entire unit. No other boat offers such easy access to the inside of the hull and electronics.

ADJUSTABLE BATTERY POSITIONING
The Spartan SR's all-new battery housing has been designed to move the batteries toward the center of the hull, positioning them at the lowest point, significantly improving stability. With a generous length of 218mm, this housing allows for an optimal fit by moving the batteries to the front or back of the shell. The hook-and-loop straps can be adjusted to accommodate multiple battery configurations, ensuring secure attachment at all times.

WATERPROOF HIGH-TORQUE SERVO
The Spartan requires a heavy-duty steering servo for quick responses, and Traxxas offers the high-torque 2056 servo. Equipped with O-rings, the servo is fully sealed, providing abundant steering power with 5.8kg of torque.

ROBUST FLEXIBLE SHAFT
The Spartan's new rugged 4.7mm flexible shaft features a 25% larger diameter to handle power and ensure ultimate reliability. In addition, the Spartan's new electronic layout optimizes efficiency by moving the engine backwards, providing a shorter, direct path to the propeller.

QUICK-RELEASE FLEXIBLE CABLE
The collet of the Spartan SR securely holds the flexible cable in place and centers it perfectly with the motor output shaft, ensuring smooth and efficient operation. It is easily released by unscrewing it with the included key, making maintenance easier. Once loosened, the propeller and flexible cable simply slide outwards, allowing your Spartan SR to function optimally.

VELINEON 540XL ENGINE
The Velineon 540XL 1800 kV motor is specifically designed to deliver maximum power and efficiency in marine applications. It is equipped with ultra-high temperature sintered neodymium magnets, a precisely balanced rotor, and high-speed ball bearings.

SEALED RECEIVER BOX
Traxxas' patented waterproof receiver box ensures clean wire routing through a special gasket. A blue O-ring allows easy access to the receiver without compromising sealing.
