CLIP-FREE BODY INSTALLATION
The clipless body of the Rustler stays securely in place, even during the most intense actions. The strong tabs hold the body firmly, but release it in seconds for quick battery changes. This convenient and discreet locking system replaces traditional clips with reinforced panels, ensuring the integrity of the body and resisting tensile damage.
CLIPLESS ATTACHMENT BODY
The clipless body attachment of the Rustler is innovative and ensures a secure hold with quick and easy removal. No studs, no clips – just lay the body on the chassis and snap it into place for a secure hold. When it's time to change the battery, press down on the tabs under the wheel arches and lift it up to access the chassis in just a few seconds.
MOLDED BODY REINFORCEMENTS
The clipless body latches of the Rustler are cleanly integrated into molded body reinforcements, both aesthetically pleasing and protective. Unlike traditional studs and clips, the Rustler's body braces distribute impact forces over a wide area to minimize the risk of tensile damage.
ADJUSTABLE WHEELIE BAR
The Rustler's wheelie bar becomes indispensable thanks to the monstrous power of the BL-2s brushless motor system. The patented wheelie bar offers four adjustment positions to control wheelies. The sturdy nylon composite mount provides an extra level of protection for the engine and airframe.
ULTRA SHOCKS OIL-FILLED SHOCKS
The oil-filled Ultra Shocks use O-rings to ensure a perfect seal and super-smooth performance. Adjust the ground clearance and preload on the springs with the included shims. Ultra Shocks shocks are fully adjustable with a wide range of oils, springs and pistons available.
EXTREME HEAVY DUTY GIMBALS
Extreme Heavy Duty gimbals are reinforced in critical areas for exceptional power management. The large diameter half-shafts ensure excellent articulation and long suspension travel, easily supporting the devastating torque of the BL-2s brushless system.

3-CHANNEL RECEIVER WITH FAIL-SAFE SAFETY
In the event of a signal loss due to inadvertence such as accidental transmitter shutdown or depleted batteries, the receiver automatically returns the throttle range to neutral and maintains the last steering control. Fail-safe programming is conveniently integrated and does not require specific activation.
BL-2S BRUSHLESS MOTOR SYSTEM
The waterproof BL-2S electronic speed controller features powerful features such as three distinct driving profiles, low voltage detection for LiPo batteries, patented "drive" mode, and overheat protection with thermal shutdown. The 3300kV BL-2S sensorless motor, equipped with a built-in cooling fan, delivers solid brushless performance with virtually no maintenance required.

STEERING GEAR WITH SERVO SAVER
A Stadium Truck capable of traveling at more than 65 km/h requires a sophisticated steering design to provide precise handling and precise directional response. The Rustler's high-performance steering system minimizes steering kickback to increase cornering stability.
EASY-ACCESS BATTERY COMPARTMENT
The Rustler's battery mounting system accommodates 6 or 7 cell flat battery packs, as well as 7-cell bump packs for maximum versatility. An optional battery expansion kit is available, reference 3725X (sold separately), to accommodate large batteries.
POWERFUL AND WATERPROOF STEERING SERVO
A racing vehicle requires a powerful steering servo for responsive performance, and Traxxas meets that need with the 2056 high-torque servo. This waterproof steering servo uses O-rings to ensure worry-free operation even when conditions get wet.
REINFORCED WISHBONES
Made from the toughest composite material, the Rustler's heavy-duty wishbones provide just the right degree of flexibility to resist breakage. These control arms stand up to even the most demanding riders for non-stop wheel-to-wheel racing.
HEX SCREWS
The Rustler's hex drive screws allow for a more positive and secure fastener than other fasteners. The black oxide coating provides rust resistance and a high-tech look and feel.
FRONT BUMPER READY FOR LED LIGHTING
The Rustler's sturdy tubular-styled front bumper helps prevent damage in the event of a crash to protect the chassis. This bumper is also equipped with brackets for mounting optional LED lights, part numbers 3791 and 2263 (sold separately).
ONE-PIECE DURABLE CAMBER LINKS
The strong, durable one-piece camber links are perfect for bashing because they maintain satisfactory suspension geometry and never require adjustments. The ball joints are held firmly in place to provide unmatched durability and prevent them from coming loose.
HEAVY-DUTY SUSPENSION COMPONENTS
The Rustler is equipped with factory-installed heavy-duty suspension components for maximum strength and durability. The rear knuckles, calipers and steering knuckles are reinforced with more material and a stronger construction.
MAGNUM 272 TRANSMISSION WITH METAL GEARS
The Magnum 272 transmission is equipped with all-metal internal gears based on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings. The sealed cell protects the transmission components from dirt and stones. The ruggedized Magnum 272 transmission is designed to handle even the extreme power of Velineon VXL brushless motors without the need for costly upgrades.
TORQUE-CONTROLLED SLIPPER CLUTCH
The torque-controlled slipper clutch uses a special semi-metallic friction material and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. The sprockets can be removed and replaced without changing the clutch setting.
STEEL-COMPOSITE PLANETARY DIFFERENTIAL
The composite planetary differential features a steel pinion for long life. It uses hardened steel internal gears for maximum strength during demanding off-road races. This type of differential requires virtually no maintenance, and its efficient design transmits maximum torque to the wheels for optimal grip
Precision rubber seal ball bearings provide ultra-low friction performance and maximum protection in dirty environments. They are used in all exposed areas of the vehicle and guarantee virtually maintenance-free reliability.
