Formula E Gen2 TC-01 Kit to build Tamiya 58681.

Formula E has established itself as one of the world's major categories and since 2020 has been granted official championship status by the FIA. She sees electric-powered cars competing, making her an ideal subject for Tamiya!
This model reproduces the only car currently approved to participate in the Formula E championship. Designed and built by Spark Racing Technology (SRT) and the Italian firm Dallara, the Spark SRT 05E, also known as "Spark Gen2" or "Gen2" (for "Generation 2"), it has more powerful batteries than the previous generation and a new driver protection element now imposed on all categories of single-seater Halo.
The base of the RC Tamiya model is the all-new TC-01 chassis with an extremely low profile particularly suited to a Formula E body.

Characteristics:

Higher monohull/mount hybrid configuration of the type of the TA07 and other current Tamiya chassis.
Also compatible with Touring Car bodies. Wheelbase: 257mm.
Exceptional stiffness and multiple settings possibilities.
Type 540 engine in the central position.
4x4 transmission per cardans with TB-05 oil differentials for smooth operation and optimized performance.
Inboard front and rear suspensions with long triangles and identical right and left flares to maximize leverage and facilitate maintenance.
Hydraulic shock absorbers activated by push bars and bent returns.
Different braces allow a very fine adjustment of pinching angles, hunting and bodywork.
Alternative body braces and body supports for Formula E or Touring Car bodywork.
Compatible with IFMAR standard-sized battery packs.

Gen2 bodywork:

Reproduction of the gen2 in polycarbonate to 1/10. Rear wing and lateral parts reported. Length: 430mm, width: 188mm, height: 99mm.
Halo and mirrors reported in white ABS.
Official decoration of the presentation car (stickers).
