Characteristics
Optimized operating software
When charging or unloading, an "AUTO" function automatically defines the power current. Especially for Lithium batteries, this mode prevents any overload that can cause an explosion. All programs are monitored to counter any errors in order to maintain optimal security. They can be programmed as an option.
Individual Lithium Battery Balancer Included
The charger has an individual voltage balancing cell (swing). Therefore, you don't need to connect an independent balancer when charging your Lithium batteries (Li-ion, Li-Po, Li-Fe, Li-Hv) to balance the voltage of the cells.
Individual balance of discharged cells
It can also monitor the balancing of Lithium battery cells during the discharge procedure. If the voltage of one of them is abnormal, the discharge will be interrupted followed by an error message.
Optimized for multiple types of Lithium battery
It supports three types of batteries: Li-on, Li-Po, Li-Hv and Li-Fe. It each has different characteristics because of their chemistry. You need to select one of them before you start the charging process. For their features, please refer to the "safety warnings and advice" section.
Lithium battery, "fast charge" and "storage" modes
You can charge your Lithium batteries with specific needs. "Fast charging" reduces charging time and "storage" mode controls the final voltage of the battery after a long period of storage.
Maximum security
Delta-peak sensitivity: The automatic charge is stopped by the Delta-peak (NiCd/NiMH) voltage detection principle. When the battery voltage exceeds the maximum threshold, the charging process ends automatically.
Limiting the power in auto load: When you load NiMH or NiCd in "Auto" mode, you can set the ceiling of the charge current to avoid too high a flow. This is very useful when using a slow charge and a low-capacity NiMH battery in this mode.
Capacity limit: Load capacity is always calculated by multiple currents and durations. If the load capacity exceeds the limit, the process will be automatically stopped once the maximum defined value is reached.
Temperature limit: The temperature of a battery during charging may increase due to an internal chemical reaction. If you set a maximum temperature, the charge will be interrupted once the limit has passed.
The feature is available by connecting an optional temperature sensor, not included in the charger package.
Limit charging time: You can also limit the maximum charge time to prevent a possible defect.
Power of the charger: To protect the car's battery by using dc power, the voltage is constantly monitored. If it falls below the limit, the process will be completed automatically.
Database/loading
Your charger is equipped with a memory that allows it to store up to 5 different programs. You can build a database of continuous load or discharge schedule settings. This data can be used at any time and the load can be executed without these settings.
Charge and discharge cycles
Run 1 to 5 charge cycles - unload continuously to cool and balance the battery.
