A little bit of history:

The world's tallest Ball Course, measuring 72 feet, is the "energy machine." It is located inside the Hong Kong Science Museum. Our Course in Billes Ugears may not be the biggest, but we think it's the friendliest! When the balls enter the 3-way switch, each ball closes a "door" behind it, allowing the next ball to pass further. The third ball, passing through the last hole, opens the doors with the help of a lever.

What is it about the Parcours à Billes that makes them so fascinating? Children (and adults!) can watch marbles go down a track, overcome various obstacles, for hours. They are fascinating, they catch our attention, and yet they are also relaxing. Ball racing has become an unexpected YouTube phenomenon, with thousands of videos racking up millions of views.

How the Ball Course with Ugears Elevator works:

Turn the handle clockwise to set the machine in motion and watch the wooden elevator pick up and lift the balls up the machine, where a 3-way switch distributes them across different tracks. A ball plunges into a chute with a loop at the bottom; the next one runs down the different floors of the waterfalls, while three others are collected in the accumulator and then released into one of the three short tracks.

All marbles pass through the common bin or collector before returning to the elevator to be lifted on their next trip.

The Ball Course with Elevator is modular. Thus it can be connected to other Ball Courses with Elevator (2 or 4 models can be connected, in pairs) using special connectors (included). Attach two Ball Courses with Elevator together frontally, or connect four together, both frontally and laterally, for a large Course.

Technical info:
High-quality wood from sustainable sources makes up the Kit of the Log Course with Elevator. There's everything you might need for assembly. The kit also includes 10 marbles. In addition, we use a laser method to cut parts from a plywood board and thus provide accurate cuts. Then remove the parts from the boards and assemble them to create the complete model.
