EXTREME GROUND clearance
The TRX4 model is a crawler equipped with transmissions offset from the axles of the wheels. This raises the transmission and increases ground clearance to avoid getting stuck on an obstacle. Compared to a conventional "straight" transmission, the tyres are smaller with the same ground clearance. Thus we have an increase in stability by lowering the center of gravity.
The TRX-4 chassis is one step ahead of other crawler chassis.

TORQUE TWISTING IS ELIMINATED
The raised transmission uses a gearbox system at the wheel axle. This causes a double reduction compared to a conventional transmission and significantly reduces torque torsion. The torque of the TITAN 550 engine is transmitted entirely into the drive without losing energy in the torsion of the system.

GEOMETRY IMPROVEMENT
The axle geometry raises the axle mounts and recenters the drive shafts, thus significantly reducing the working angles of the suspensions. As a result, there is less effort on the drive shafts and the higher suspension tie rods provide a larger space with less surface area to grip on rocks. The steering arms are raised and are out of contact areas.

RIGID METAL CHASSIS
A reinforced, ladder-shaped chassis with molded crossmembers form a rigid assembly allowing the suspensions to perform their job as they should.
This difference will be felt on tracks where the elimination of chassis flexibility will allow for precise wheel placement when moving over technical terrain.

DIFFERENTIAL LOCKING FROM THE TRANSMITTER
Depending on your riding needs, Traxxas allows you to choose to lock or unlock the front and rear differentials via your transmitter. Leave the differentials unlocked for relaxed riding on a track with tight corners and get better handling at high speeds.
When the track gets technical, lock the front and rear differentials or just the front differential for better grip on extreme terrain. This Traxxas design (patented) has already proven its reliability in the past as it already equips the Summit 1/10. New micro cables control the action of the differentials with a mock-up appearance and without limiting the important articulation of the suspensions.

45° STEERING TRAVEL
Regular crawlers sacrifice their turning radius for traction. The TRX-4's remote-controlled differentials unlock to allow for this 45° steering angle.
Once you've passed the obstacle, lock the differential to get optimal traction.

SHORT/LONG GEARBOX
When progress becomes uneven, use the selector on the transmitter to switch to short 4WD transmission and get torque. Switch to the long transmission to swallow the tracks that are clear of obstacles. The suspension architecture has been designed to absorb rough terrain with ease while maintaining a model appearance.
This incomparable versatility allows the TRX-4 to adapt to any situation or type of riding.

WATERPROOF
Traxxas has been the first to provide you with completely waterproof R/C vehicles for years with innovative design. The TRX-4 is a completely waterproof crawler so you can really have fun, it's not just splash resistant!
Traxxas' patented innovations give you the freedom to tackle creeks, snow, mud without worrying about water and its harmful effects with electronics.

MOCK-UP APPEARANCE
The TRX-4 is represented with the body of the legendary Land Rover Defender, complemented by an attention to detail for an authentic 4x4 driving experience. Traxxas added a real spare tire, winch, extra gas jerry cans. You can even attach accessories to the included roof rack. The heavy-duty bumpers provide great protection and are equipped with emergency rings. The front bumper is designed to be equipped with many accessories that are compatible with off-road vehicles.

INTERNAL FENDERS
The model details do not stop at the bodywork. To prevent intrusion inside the chassis of stones, mud, twigs, Traxxas has been underneath the chassis to install detailed fenders that integrate with the mock-up appearance of the rocker panels and shock mounts. The mudguards are equipped with housing for LED equipment (optional) to illuminate the track at night.
Projectors are present where necessary. Internal fender guards protect against stone projections.

CRUISE CONTROL
The transmitter of the TQi radio system is equipped with cruise control for long-distance treks. Adjust your speed from your transmitter and then use the multi-function button for fine-tuning and fine-tuning to fit the explorer's caravan.
The cruise control system is easy and comfortable for the TRX-4 and will be your companion for hours of riding fun and exploration.

3S VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE
The new XL 5 HV variable speed drive has 3S capability for more powerful and efficient movement.
New control profiles have been added for flexible and precise control. A new profile makes it easy to ride smoothly on all your adventures, and a crawler profile allows for hill starts and instant reversing for difficult and technical terrain.
Each of them will allow you to wander through obstacles with ease. A battery life of up to 2 hours is possible thanks to the use of a Traxxas LiPo iD 3S 5000mAh pack.

CANYON TRACK TIRES 1.9
The Canyon Track 1.9 tyres equipped with special foams are extra soft and very grippy to provide superior attack on rocky passages with convincing realism. The 12mm steel wheel hexes allow the TRX-4 chassis to be compatible with many combinations of rims and 1.9 tires.

TRAXXAS STRENGTH
Leave your tools in your crate. The Traxxas TRX-4 chassis is built to withstand the rigors of any terrain and give you all-day riding pleasure. The bases of this chassis are made up of 2 x 1.5mm steel flanks, large diameter steel linkages, large ball joints that maintain a firmly mounted suspension, very reliable steel CV drives, a smooth and silent gearbox. On the other hand, over the past 3 decades, composite parts have been improved in strength and reliability.

GTS ALUMINUM SHOCK ABSORBERS
New hydraulic shock absorbers have been designed exclusively for this TRX-4 chassis. These anodized aluminum elements provide damping performance and have threaded bodies for easy ground clearance adjustment. The realism is perfect and they are even more efficient thanks to the cap with O-ring and the double seals located at their base.

EXTREME CAPABILITIES
The front and rear angles of attack allow the TRX-4 to absorb "head-on" obstacles. The engine placed on the front allows weight distribution for better attack on hills compared to other chassis designs.
