Crawler CRX2 RTR 1/10 Hobbytech

The CRX2 has all the assets and features of a modern, high-performance scale. It is now available in an RTR version with its hand-painted long cab body in lexan. On this RTR version, the bodywork is equipped with functional LEDs

To develop the CRX2, we started with a blank sheet of paper and designed a completely new product that was different from our iconic CRX. We've made all the changes that users we've met at specialized events like the Model Festival wanted. 

The wheelbase of the CRX2 RTR is 313 mm but it is possible to modify it and choose from 4 sizes (305, 313, 317 and 324 mm). 

The decks are much more realistic and are now equipped with reinforced gimbals. 

The new rockets make it possible to have a 0° Ackerman. When cornering, the wheels remain parallel which greatly improves the steering angle. 

To avoid the Torque Twist effect (wheel that lifts when accelerating), the new transmission allows the central driveshafts to rotate in the opposite direction. The CRX2 can scale with much more stability and efficiency.

The CRX2 RTR is equipped with 4 Wolf Shocks. These realistic shocks with internal spring can be set in droop or semi-droop mode. 

For added realism, the CRX2 RTR comes with 106/36mm Climber tires. This self-designed tyre ensures perfect traction on a wide variety of terrains. 

The CRX2 is also affected by other major modifications such as new suspension links, a multi-position battery mount and a new SMD plate (mounting the steering servo on the chassis). 

In terms of electronics, this RTR version comes with a 21 kg waterproof steering servo, a 35T brushed motor and a Konect KT3X radio set.

Adjustable wheelbase
Thanks to its adjustable wheelbase, it is possible to fit a large number of bodies on the CRX2

Multi-position battery holder
It is possible to choose different positions for the battery according to the desired performance. The system also allows the use of different battery formats.

ACKERMANN 0°
The new rockets as well as the new CVD gimbals make it possible to have a 0° Ackerman. When cornering, the wheels remain parallel which improves the steering angle.

Anti-Torque Twist System

TIRES, CLIMBER 106/36
This tyre designed and manufactured by Hobbytech ensures perfect traction on your scale. This tyre is all the rage among practitioners! It is compatible with the TRX4. It comes with a foam insert and it mounts to 1.9 rims

Full Wolf Type 90mm Shock Absorbers
Adjusting the "Wolf" shocks for the CRX2:
Recommended mounting = semi-droop: small soft spring at the bottom and medium-sized soft spring at the top.
Scale realism mounting = droop adjustment: medium-sized soft spring at the bottom and small soft spring at the top.
Lubrication = filling a part of the body with very fluid silicone oil (e.g. 100 cps)
