Performance was not forgotten when creating the MB Scaler. A modern crawler chassis was chosen to support the one-piece body and rigid axle design of the real MB. Oil shock absorbers replace leaf springs to allow axle articulation. Narrow wheels are fitted with tyres with specially formulated rubber and treads in accordance with the time in order to provide maximum traction while preserving the model appearance of the MB.
