Steel HSS drills of selected quality. Solid and rigid construction. Axis and helical part forged in one piece. Optimal concentricity. Good hardness ensures longevity and elasticity. For metal work, non-ferrous metal, plastic, turntables, hard and soft wood. Speed: soft materials approx. 8,000 rpm., hard materials approx. 3,000 rpm. Priority Ø 2.35. All dimensions are in mm.
remark: The term HSS tool for this group comes from the drilling equipment used. High-speed steel (high-speed steel = HSS) is a high-alloy steel, which is wear-resistant and up to about 600°C resistant to deformation by its manufacturing process. It is advisable to use a cutting oil or cooling emulsion during the machining of steel. White spirit or petrol is used during aluminum machining. Plastic and wood can be worked generally dry.
