La Mercedes-Benz G-Class (where G stands for Geländewagen, off-road vehicle) was developed by the German manufacturer in the seventies and was born from a collaboration agreement between Daimler-Benz and the Austrian Steyr-Daimler-Puch. The "G" series immediately stood out for its extreme robustness, reliability and good off-road capabilities thanks to its construction configuration and 4x4 traction. Through its continuous evolutions, it is still today one of the oldest models of the German manufacturer and its shapes have never been radically modified, thus demonstrating the validity of the concept. Among the most popular versions, we can recall the Mercedes Benz G 230, which has enjoyed considerable commercial success during its years of production. It also served as a basis for specific facilities dedicated to specific use solutions such as the one dedicated to firefighters.
