The Tyrrell 003 is a Formula One car designed by Derek Gardner and entered by Tyrrell Racing in 1971 and 1972. The 003 inherited the flat T-shaped front hood of the Tyrrell 001 and 002. The 003 made its debut at the Spanish Grand Prix with a Stewart victory. She won again in Monaco for the two hundredth Grand Prix of the world championship before underperforming in Holland where Stewart finished eleventh. Subsequently, the Scottish driver won the Grand Prix of France, Great Britain, Germany and Canada (six wins in eleven races) and obtained a second World Championship title. Tyrrell won the Constructors' Championship.
