Attention, article in reservation. Release scheduled for the end of 2023.
Get ready for over 20 hours of fun building kits. The die-cast body, genuine rubber tires and plastic details of this Lamborghini Aventador are all pre-decorated, so all that's left to do is take those 794 parts and put them together!
Gaillo Orion's iconic bright yellow is the most eye-catching finish. Every detail of the original car has been faithfully represented, with scissor doors and door handles hidden, Y-shaped daytime running lights and even the nuances of the powerful V12 engine, all included.
Measuring 60 cm long, 29 cm wide and 15 cm high, this model should be in the center of any display once you have finished making it.
The Lamborghini Aventador is surely the first car that comes to mind when you think of supercars. Filippo Perini designed this powerful machine inspired by military aviation. You can see the influence of the F-117 Stealth Fighter in the geometric shape, the wide hexagonal air intake that seems to be able to suck a small dog and the angled windshield, which leaves just enough space for the driver and passenger.
Inside are military-grade buttons and switches, including a small red switch above the power button. It is exactly like the locking device of fighter jets to prevent accidental fire. Take into account the Lamborghini Aventador's 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds of acceleration and the F1-style pushrod suspension design, and you have a supercar capable of immense power, easily pushing 217 km/h as top speed.
Lamborghini manufactured about 750 copies per year of this highly desirable car, adding to its luxurious and exclusive character. It was published just weeks before Pope John Paul II's beatification, as part of a brilliant marketing initiative that may or may not have been deliberate. Production ended in 2022, but we're bringing it back as a 1.8-scale model, making it the only new Lamborghini Aventador you'll get in 2023.
