Italeri Freightliner 1/24 Straight Dump Truck

1/24 scale Freightliner Straight Truck model from Italeri reference 3783.

Freightliner Trucks, an industrial vehicle manufacturer based in Portland - USA, is known for its semi-trailer tractors. However, it also excels in the field of "heavy duties" trucks, "quarry and construction" vehicles whose market experienced strong growth in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Freightliner's engineers worked on the technical solutions best suited to the needs of the construction market: reinforced chassis and rear axles for high load resistance, robust tippers, motors and transmissions optimized for demanding loads and steep slopes. This model makes it possible to reproduce a typical Freightliner three-axle tipper of this period.
