XRT has been designed for speed, maneuverability and performance. Its low centre of gravity, ultra-wide track and low-profile body give you confidence and provide the control needed to accelerate and reach +95km/h over large areas.

ROBUST AND PROVEN ALL-METAL TRANSMISSION
XRT's performance and strength start with its all-metal 8s transmission. The 4-pinion steel differentials and steel drive shafts are connected by a high-strength extruded aluminum center shaft. It is this precision layout that has proven itself on the X-Maxx.

RACE-INSPIRED LOW CG CHASSIS
XRT's performance-oriented chassis design is configured to lower the center of gravity for high-flying handling and stability. Both 4s 6700mAh batteries and steering servo are positioned to place the weight as low as possible in the chassis and protect these critical components.

PATENT-PENDING CLIPLESS BODY
The XRT's patent-pending clipless body removes and installs easily in seconds and yet it locks into place with incredible strength and security. The system uses a cage inside the body to minimize bending while external pads are strategically placed to protect the body.

GRAVIX RACING TIRES
XRT's Gravix racing tires are a revolutionary new hybrid design with biting edges and densely compact slats. They offer exceptional grip on hard surfaces as well as precision and quiet operation at high speeds.

VXL-8 DRIVE SYSTEM
Already Traxxas' most powerful speed controller, the XRT's VXL-8s goes one step further with aggressive tuning that maximizes power output across all engine speed ranges. More power under the curve offers a mid-rev punch that hits hard. Pull the throttle trigger at any speed and the XRT will respond instantly with effortless acceleration.

X-MAXX SIDEKICK
With the introduction of the XRT, you now have the choice between two XXL 8s trucks with ultimate performance, each offering its own unique driving experience. The X-Maxx reigns supreme over Monster Trucks with its big wheels, high ground clearance and versatile abilities. The new XRT is the companion to the X-Maxx: it's designed for a race-inspired driving experience with precise handling and unmatched speed.

PRECISION ENGINEERING
Traxxas engineers spent countless hours designing every joint, angle and point of contact for maximum strength and convenience. The race-inspired triangulated structure transfers and dissipates impact energy through the chassis to minimize the possibility of bending or breaking a bracket.

HIGH-STRENGTH ROCKETS
The new high-strength front and rear rockets house large sealed ball bearings and are an upgrade compatible with the X-Maxx (part numbers: 7832 / 7836 / 7852).

SUSPENSION WIDEMAXX
Racing trucks are designed with low ground clearance and wide track for maximum stability. The XRT's WideMaxx suspension and low-CG chassis provide incredibly safe handling. It is designed to take tight and fast corners with 8s power, which is not possible with any other truck!

8S ULTIMATE PROPULSION SYSTEM
The XRT's VXL-8s goes one step further with an aggressive new setting that maximizes power output across all engine speed ranges. The extra punch in the middle of the rev hits the wheels at the slightest solicitation. The Velineon 1200XL brushless motor is an 8s raw powerhouse that offers increased cooling thanks to a massive heatsink and dual fans.

ALL-METAL TRANSMISSION
The X-Maxx pioneered the 8s ruggedness with an all-metal transmission. The XRT uses the same transmission with sealed 4-pinion differentials and extremely strong cells to increase bearing support and eliminate bending.

RACE-INSPIRED HANDLING
A low centre of gravity, racing-ready aluminium shock absorbers and an ultra-wide stance give the XRT remarkably sharp reflexes and flat cornering response that feel like it's ready for the track. Off the track, the XRT is also in conquered territory to drift at full throttle and perform massive jumps.

INTEGRATED VENTILATION AIR INTAKES
Innovative cold air inlets direct cooling air onto the engine and speed controller for increased efficiency and uptime. The hood-mounted intake integrates with the shock absorber mount to supply air to the VXL-8s speed controller. The roof vent channels the cooling air directly to the dual fans.

WATERPROOF ELECTRONICS
There is a difference between waterproof and water resistant. XRT continues the Traxxas heritage by giving you patented, best-in-class sealing solutions and the freedom to drive wherever you want, no matter what the elements.

PATENT-PENDING CLIPLESS BODY
The XRT features the strongest clipless body to date with a full internal frame and wide attachment points that virtually eliminate damage from folds. A thick protective plate on the roof is an integral part of the frame with front and rear buttresses for foolproof rigidity.

CHASSIS DESIGN WITHOUT ROUGHNESS
XRT's nested skid plates blend precisely into the chassis to create a smooth bottom plate to evenly absorb ground impacts for predictable, seamless performance.

SECURE BATTERY STORAGE
XRT protects your batteries by positioning them deep in the chassis with full side protection. Sturdy snap-lock battery holders hold the batteries firmly, regardless of the intensity of the action.
