DESIGNED FOR 6S POWER
Since its inception, Traxxas has designed the Maxx Slash to incorporate all the features of the legendary Slash, but imbued with the massive power of a 6s vehicle. The "Belted" Maxx SC tires amplify the Short Course experience with incredible traction and stability even at over 110km/h. An all-metal drivetrain and hybrid "Steel-Core" driveshafts give the Maxx Slash all the strength inherent in Traxxas products that made the Slash famous.

LOW-CG RIGID CHASSIS
Traxxas engineers relied on years of real-world testing with the nearly indestructible Maxx as inspiration for the Maxx Slash's revolutionary chassis design. Hexagonal reinforcements cover almost any flat surface for exceptional rigidity. An ultra-strong composite structure made from interlocking elements allows the chassis to absorb significant shocks while maintaining its tight tolerances.

SUPERIOR PROTECTION
Maxx Slash (Skid Plate) skid plates enclose the center driveshaft inside a rigid spine for superior protection. Extra-thick skid plates snap together for a sleek appearance and snag-free performance in the wild. Heavy-duty skid plates absorb shock to protect critical bulkheads and transmission components.

OPTIMIZED AIRFLOW
Traxxas' innovation on the XO-1 Supercar to reach speeds of 160km/h paved the way for the aerodynamic design of the Maxx Slash. Underneath the Short Course, interlocking skid plates allow the underside of the chassis to be flat to reduce drag. Openings in the body reduce lift to improve both high-speed stability and ventilation.

REINFORCED BODY WITHOUT CLIPS
The Maxx Slash uses locking tabs that hold the body firmly, but release in seconds to access the chassis. Additional side supports are inserted into the specially designed nerve bars to increase the rigidity of the body. A heavy-duty internal cage supports the body with oversized exterior reinforcements to protect it from wear and damage caused by obstacles encountered.

OUR MOST POWERFUL VXL-6S POWERTRAIN SYSTEM
The VXL-6s speed controller is custom tuned to extract maximum torque from the Velineon 2000kV motor. Greater efficiency provides more power under the curve for extra mid-range power and acceleration you can see and feel. Cooling fins are machined into the engine housing for ventilated operation and maximum power.

TQi RADIO SYSTEM
The high-efficiency Traxxas TQi 2.4GHz radio system offers superior range, 30 model memory and maximum control. HYBRID DRIVESHAFTS WITH STEEL ARTICULATION
The new "Steel-Core" hybrid driveshafts feature innovative steel internal joints, wrapped in durable nylon composite materials. They offer the strength of steel combined with a smooth telescopic action that allows these ultimate drivetrain driveshafts to operate under 6S. The new "U" yokes are modified to improve the retention of the circlip while eliminating it on one side. The entire rocket is now made entirely of steel for even more strength.

TRANSMISSION MAXX-DUTY
The Maxx 4s sets the standard for strength with a nearly indestructible drivetrain. For the all-new Maxx Slash 6s, Traxxas has gone to great lengths to ensure that every component is able to handle the extra power. Wide-toothed steel gears seamlessly transfer power to the innovative Cush Drive system. A new heat-dissipating metal crankcase helps the torque-polarized center drive stay up to temperature for massive punch and breathtaking acceleration. Huge gears on the front and rear differentials give the Maxx Slash the toughest drivetrain in its class.

FULLY WATERPROOF
Water? Mud? Snow? No problem! Traxxas' patented sealing solutions allow the Maxx Slash to traverse at full throttle extreme conditions that would marginalize simple "water-resistant" trucks. EASY ACCESS TO BATTERIES
The battery compartment of the Maxx Slash is versatile and can accommodate a single large capacity 4s 6700mAh battery, two 2s 7600mAh, or two 3s 5000Mah for sub-6s operation. The batteries are positioned deep in the reinforced chassis in a "honeycomb" structure for maximum protection and low-CG maneuverability. The batteries are held securely by a pressure-lock arm, but the arm releases in seconds for quick access.

OPTIONAL LIGHTING
Designed to handle the brutal hits of the real world, the Maxx Slash LED Light Kit (Part Number: 10290) is waterproof and made with Traxxas ruggedness for maximum enjoyment. Fight your way through the night with this high-output LED lighting kit. The included high-voltage amplifier contains the muscles needed to efficiently power the high-power light bar with a tightly regulated output for stable lighting performance, without flickering or attenuation when the battery voltage changes.

AGGRESSIVE SHORT COURSE BODYWORK
The Maxx Slash retains the unmistakable body styling of its Slash lineage, but injects a healthy dose of adrenaline. The lare fenders and sculpted lines give the Maxx Slash a more aggressive look while the rugged body braces give it a fresh look after a hard day on the track.

SHORT COURSE WHEELS
The Maxx Slash rides on large-diameter Short Course rims with a large glue surface for secure mounting of Talon tires. The rims are fully sealed to keep dirt and water out which can upset the balance of the wheels and degrade the foam inserts. An internal 17mm fluted hex provides maximum power transfer with an outer nylstop nut for a more realistic appearance.

ADJUSTABLE WHEELIE BAR
With the power generated by the 6s batteries, an adjustable wheelie bar is a must. The Maxx Slash's adjustable wheelie bar maximizes traction and control when accelerating at full throttle. Adjust it to its low position to prevent the vehicle from lifting too much on hard surfaces, or set it higher to act as a stop during high-speed, high-flying off-road actions.

HEAVY-DUTY BUMPERS
Strong Slash-style front and rear bumpers help protect critical components from impacts. The bumpers, combined with a Short Course body that covers the tires, allow wheel-to-wheel contact for competitive and authentic action.

MAXX SC SHEATHED TIRES
The large-diameter Maxx SC tires feature a tread pattern with blocks for secure traction on almost any surface. The innovative sheath design pairs with a long-lasting rubber compound for total control on a variety of terrains. Belted Maxx SC tires work just as well on the pavement and provide realistic performance when sliding the Maxx Slash through corners.

SHOCK MOUNT DESIGN
The Maxx Slash's built-in shock mounts are part of the chassis and produce a rigid, triangulated structure to mount and protect the shock caps. Strong body mounts attach directly to reinforced shock mounts for maximum strength and impact resistance.

MOTOR MOUNT WITH FIXED TINES
The motor and cradle unite to form a fixed inter-tine. A heavily reinforced mounting plate in the chassis keeps the motor and crown in perfect alignment. This innovative solution eliminates bending and significantly extends the life of the gears.

LOW CG CHASSIS
The new chassis lowers the center of gravity and lengthens the wheelbase for responsive handling. A fighter-like aesthetic revolves around a honeycomb engineering design that adds strength and rigidity where it's needed most. The Maxx's proven bulkheads are tightly integrated at the front and rear.

BATTERY COMPARTMENT
The Maxx Slash utilizes the Sledge's battery compartment and retention design to provide versatility and superior battery protection. The precise locking system makes it easy to install and secure Traxxas iD batteries, including a single large capacity 4s 6700mAh, two 2s 7600mAh or two 3s 5000mAh batteries for operation under 6s.

WATERPROOF ELECTRONICS
The Maxx Slash isn't limited by mud, snow, or water and neither is your fun. A sealed enclosure protects the TQi receiver from water for all-weather driving. An easy-access port on the top allows instant access to the receiver while keeping the entire case waterproof.

MAXX STEERING SERVO
The powerful steering servo mounts securely to the Maxx Slash chassis for improved support and shock resistance. With its proven durability in Monster Trucks MAXX, its digital operation on ball bearings provides 20kg.cm torque for responsive and precise steering control.

FIXED TOE AND CAMBER LINKS
The camber and toe links are fixed and non-adjustable in order to provide ultimate durability by ensuring that the action is not stopped suddenly by a broken linkage.

LONG-TRAVEL SUSPENSION
The Maxx Slash soars over cow floors and soaks up bumps like a Baja truck thanks to its long-travel suspension. The suspension travel is adjustable, so you can customize the Maxx Slash to dominate any surface. Use maximum travel for optimal capability on rough off-road terrain or tighten suspension travel for responsive handling and on-track grip.

MUSCULAR CONTROL ARMS
The Maxx Slash's oversized, double-wishbone control arms maintain a tailored suspension geometry across the entire kinematics of the movement. The two-point fastener provides incredible strength and impact resistance. The composite material is more resistant to impact damage, even in cold weather.

GT-MAXX ALUMINUM SHOCK ABSORBERS
GT-Maxx aluminum shocks feature an extra-large bore and larger oil capacity for ultra-smooth and consistent damping. Extra-large diameter shock rods pass through dual seals for smooth, frictionless performance. Machined and anodized aluminum bodies sparkle in color to match the body graphics.

SEALED BEARINGS
The Maxx Slash uses sealed bearings that feature a full contact patch, placed throughout the drivetrain to keep dirt and dust out. Less downtime for bearing cleaning and maintenance equals more uptime and more fun.

TORQUE-POLARIZED CENTRAL DRIVE
The Maxx Slash's torque-polarized center drive is tuned for maximum punch from the start line with high-viscosity oil for even front/rear power distribution. A tough aluminum crankcase helps dissipate heat for consistent performance, as the Maxx Slash delivers unmatched and incredibly fast acceleration power!

SPLINED ALUMINUM DRIVE SHAFT
A thick-walled, splined, aluminum center driveshaft transfers power to the front and rear differentials. This rugged driveshaft provides precise drive, incredible strength, and smooth operation.

STEEL CORE HYBRID DRIVETRAIN DRIVESHAFTS
The Maxx Slash is oversized to handle the most brutal abuse. The new hybrid drivetrain driveshafts feature steel cores wrapped in durable nylon composite materials where strength is key. Large-diameter fluted half-shafts provide smooth telescoping action and near-infinite suspension travel.

STEEL GEAR DIFFERENTIALS
The Maxx Slash's 4-pinion differentials are sealed and oil-filled with high viscosity, which limits slippage effect for maximum traction on loose surfaces. The oversized 1.25 modulus steel gears are fully designed to withstand the power and speed of 6s batteries.
