For those who believe that there is "no substitute for displacement," Traxxas has designed a Monster Truck for you. The Stampede 4X4 VXL is equipped with the same Velineon 540XL brushless motor found in the Maxx. It's the biggest engine we've ever offered in a truck of this size. The Velineon VXL-3s speed controller releases power smoothly using large 6.5mm connectors and a built-in cooling fan for fast, reliable enjoyment.

UPGRADE KIT FOR EXTREME STRENGTH
In addition to the extra power, the Stampede 4X4 VXL also gets an extra boost thanks to the factory-installed upgrade kit. The kit replaces key drivetrain and suspension components with reinforced parts designed for ultimate strength and durability. From HD wishbones to steel wheel hubs, this is the strongest drivetrain ever offered in a Stampede.

MONSTROUS SIZE
The Stampede 4X4 VXL dominates thanks to its wide 5.3-inch Sledgehammer tires, which gives it a Monster Truck look. With nearly 76mm of ground clearance in the center, the Stampede can access places where other vehicles can't. The long wheelbase of 295 mm increases stability at high speeds. Short overhangs at the front and rear place most of the Stampede's weight between the wheels, providing lively cornering response and better handling.

SELF-RIGHTING
The Stampede 4X4 VXL uses Traxxas' patented self-righting feature to prolong the fun, even when you get swept away by rollovers or roll over. Just press a button on the TQi transmitter and in most cases, the Stampede 4X4 VXL will get back on its wheels in just a few seconds and be ready for new adventures!

CLIP-FREE BODY
The Stampede 4X4 VXL's robust and innovative clipless body fastening system ensures secure installation and easy one-handed removal.

Battery changes are quick and there are no body clips to handle. The internal cage with integrated roof and tailgate protectors reinforces the body for extra long life.

BODY REINFORCEMENTS
A strong internal cage structure supports the bodywork, and external reinforcements enhance the aggressive appearance. Roof and tailgate pads protect the body from wear and tear due to friction, while reinforcements at the attachment points prevent cracking.

ANTI-ROLL BAR
An anti-roll bar is an essential piece of equipment to control the torque that lifts the wheels of the Stampede 4X4 VXL. Practically do endless rear wheels on asphalt and keep control of the action on the wheels during hard acceleration.

The built-in anti-roll bar is flexible enough to absorb shocks during rough landings. It also features a convenient handle to carry your Stampede to its next adventure.

TQi RADIO SYSTEM
The Traxxas TQi 2.4GHz high-performance radio system offers extended range, 30-model memory, and maximum control.

Add sensors and the Traxxas Link wireless module (sold separately) to send real-time telemetry data to your smartphone using the free Traxxas Link app.

TORQUE DISTRIBUTION CENTRAL DRIVE
The torque-sharing center drive system absorbs shock to improve drivetrain durability. It also distributes power to the four-wheel drive for breathtaking acceleration, without the side effects of a conventional center differential. The use of centre differentials results in the tyres being centrifuged, while the torque-sharing central drive system allows for wheelies from the outset with smooth power distributed to all four wheels.

VELINEON 540XL MOTOR AND VXL-3S ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER
The Stampede 4X4 VXL's gigantic Velineon 540XL brushless motor is 25% longer than the standard Velineon 3500kV brushless motor, providing almost unlimited torque for wheelies at will. The waterproof VXL-3s speed controller delivers up to 11.1 volts of power through oversized 6.5mm connectors.

The ESC is fan-cooled and packed with innovative convenience and safety features, making the VXL-3s a controller that is as powerful as it is easy to use.

REINFORCED FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS
Reinforced bumpers protect the chassis from impacts. The specially designed front bumper provides a high approach angle that allows the Stampede to easily climb over obstacles. The rear bumper is equipped with a perfectly positioned anti-roll bar to prevent the Stampede 4X4 VXL from flipping over under its explosive power.

PAINTED PROGRAPHIX BODY
The Stampede 4X4's aggressive ProGraphix body is prepared and pre-painted with the decals already applied. Internal reinforcements maintain the integrity of the bodywork while roof pads provide rollover protection to keep the body always spotless.

SLEDGEHAMMER TIRES AND 2.8-INCH BLACK CHROME WHEELS
The wide 5.3-inch Sledgehammer tires combine excellent ground clearance with genuine fun when throwing debris during acceleration. The open-block tread pattern grips gravel, dirt and grass for 4X4 traction on almost any surface. The high-performance rubber compound is specially formulated to resist tearing and adheres perfectly to the menacing black chrome rims.

SECURE BODY ATTACHMENT
The Stampede's clip-free ProGraphix body mounts to specially designed shock mounts. The easy-to-use attachment unlocks instantly with a simple flick of a thumb and locks back into place with a noticeable notch to let you know it's securely held.

MODULAR CHASSIS
The modular design of the Stampede 4X4 allows the chassis to be both strong and easy to maintain. The front and rear crossbars are easily removed with just a few screws. In less than a minute using an electric screwdriver, you'll have full access for easy maintenance and adjustments.

The Ultra Shocks oil-filled shocks use X-ring double seal technology for a perfect seal and exceptionally smooth performance. The large oil capacity and rugged design absorb the big jumps and abuse of the roughest terrain for smooth driving performance. They are easy to adjust with a wide range of oils, springs and pistons available.

5-CHANNEL RECEIVER WITH FAILSAFE DEVICE
The TQi 2.4GHz radio system can store up to thirty models in memory, allowing you to use a single transmitter for your entire R/C garage.

Telemetry ports built into the receiver transmit real-time data to the TQi transmitter when using the Traxxas Link app and telemetry sensors (sold separately).

In the event of a loss of signal, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and maintains the last steering position.

WATERPROOF RECEIVER CASE
The Stampede 4X4 VXL incorporates a waterproof receiver box in the nose of the chassis to optimize weight distribution and provide a clean, high-tech appearance. The antenna and servo wires are routed cleanly through a patented watertight seal to protect the receiver from water.

POWERFUL AND WATERPROOF DIGITAL STEERING SERVO
The Stampede 4X4 VXL's extreme speed and large Sledgehammer tires require a steering servo that is both powerful and durable. The 2075 waterproof digital servo with its high torque and ball bearings provides steering firmness for precise control and reduced reaction times.

VXL-3S ESC WITH FAN
The waterproof Velineon VXL-3s speed controller is packed with technology to deliver maximum power. A large heatsink, integrated on/off switch, and three programmable driving profiles top the list of features. Two-stage low-voltage sensing allows for full compatibility with LiPo batteries, including powerful 11.1 volt 3s batteries!

INNOVATIVE BATTERY MOUNTING SYSTEM
A robust battery attachment system keeps the battery securely in the chassis without fragile and easily misplaced straps or clips. A reinforced latch provides a solid locking action to keep batteries safe no matter the chaos.

CHASSIS PROTECTION BARS
Heavy-duty side guardrail bars protect the chassis from rocks and other impacts. Special grooves in the crash bars support the sides of the body for a tighter, more secure fit.

A 2400kV Velineon 540XL sensorless motor delivers extreme performance with almost no maintenance. Ultra-high-temperature neodymium magnets, high-speed bearings, and a precision-balanced four-pole rotor provide smooth operation and long life.

FIXED TOOTH GAP ADAPTER
Fixed tooth gap adapters take the guesswork out of adjusting your gear. The fixed position keeps the pinion tight, even after the most brutal landings. The innovative motor mount holds the 540XL motor firmly in place with a single nut for easy maintenance.

4MM REINFORCED REVERSE PITCH LINKS
The Stampede 4X4 VXL's 4mm adjuster links feature wide, flat sections that make it easy to adjust camber and parallelism with the included wrench. Fully integrated clevis absorb shocks and won't come loose during extreme off-road riding sessions.

MAXX-DUTY DRIVE SHAFTS
The Stampede 4X4 VXL's Maxx-Duty drive shafts, with reinforced universal joints, are designed to handle brushless power without batting an eyelid. The large 6mm axles fit into the included steel wheel hexes for unmatched strength and durability.

STEEL GEAR DIFFERENTIALS
The sealed front and rear differentials use steel sprockets for maximum durability. Silicone seals and O-rings allow you to adjust the level of blockage by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside the differentials.

EXTRUDED ALUMINUM DRIVESHAFT
A one-piece extruded aluminum driveshaft is both strong and lightweight. The internal splines fit directly into the front and rear differential drive gears. Overall, this shaft operates in an almost one-piece fashion for ultra-smooth drivetrain operation.

REINFORCED STEEL DRIVER SPROCKET
Designed from the ground up to handle significant brushless power, the Stampede 4X4 VXL's drivetrain uses a heavy-duty steel driver sprocket with large 0.8/32 pitch modulus teeth for reliability no matter what level of power you apply.

RUBBER FLANGE BALL BEARINGS
To maximize speed, you need as little friction as possible. The Stampede 4X4 VXL is based on precision rubber sealed bearings for ultra-low friction performance and maximum protection in dusty environments. They are used throughout the truck and are virtually maintenance-free.
