Kavan 200ml Cyanoacrylate Aerosol Activator

Activator/accelerator for instant adhesives (cyanoacrylates) in aerosol form, with a new, safer formula compliant with the latest European directives. Used to accelerate the curing of instant adhesives under conditions unfavorable to their natural curing (reaction with atmospheric humidity or water content in the parts to be bonded), in dry environments, in cold weather, when bonding inactive materials, or when applying a thick layer of adhesive. This product contains a proprietary polymerization activator for instant adhesives, solvents (acetone), and a propellant (propane/butane). Therefore, it should not be used for bonding materials not resistant to organic solvents (e.g., polystyrene foam).

Application: The accelerator is applied from a distance of 20 to 25 cm onto clean, dry surfaces. The optimal working temperature is between +10°C and +30°C. It can be applied in two main ways:

Small parts: Apply the accelerator to one surface to be glued and let it dry (it remains active for several hours). Then apply the instant glue to the other surface to be glued and glue the parts together.

Large parts: Apply hot melt glue to a contact surface, press the parts together and spray the joint with accelerator.

Suitable for: instant adhesives when bonding materials resistant to organic solvents.

Not suitable for: polystyrene foam and other materials that are not resistant to organic solvents or high temperatures (accelerated polymerization of the glue can release significant amounts of heat, leading to heating of the glued joint and its environment - the more glue is used).

Storage: In a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry place away from light (between +5°C and +25°C). Do not expose to temperatures below +2°C.

Shelf life: under appropriate storage conditions, we guarantee a shelf life of 1 year in the original unopened packaging, while retaining the above product properties.

Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurized container: may burst if heated. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness.

Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Avoid breathing mist/vapors/spray. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Keep locked up. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Dispose of contents/container in a hazardous waste container.

Repeated exposure can cause skin dryness or cracking.
