The new MULTIPLEX PACER RR is a model inspired by the famous Piper PA 20 Pacer.
The Piper PA-20 Pacer are light aircraft with reinforced high wings that were produced by the American manufacturer Piper Aircraft after the end of World War II.
The Pacer is a four-seat evolution of the PA-17 Vagabond light aircraft. It has a fuselage made of steel tubes and fabric-covered aluminum-framed wings, an architecture broadly similar to that of the most famous planes produced by Piper, the Cub and Super Cub. Prized for its robustness, its spacious cabin and its impressive speed — for the time — many examples of this aircraft have stood the test of time and continue to fly today!
Multiplex PACER RR is made of ELAPOR®, a lightweight and robust foam.
Assembly is done in a few minutes, without the use of glue. The wing spar is made of a foam-injected fiberglass tube, which offers great strength at a reduced weight.
The engine mount, the landing gear housings and the wing in the fuselage are made of robust plastic injected and glued. The landing gear is composed of a white lacquered aluminum roll bar with two large foam rubber wheels typical of the 'Alaskan Bush' type.
Our electronic components are also pre-installed in the PACER:
- four Multiplex MS-12014 digital servos - digi #1-02984 which provide control of the control surfaces,
- powerful ROXXY BL Outrunner C27-32-1000kV brushless motor #1-02985
- Multiplex controller MULTIcont BL-20 (20A) #1-02512 corresponding.
The components have been optimally adapted to the model:
With the optional recommended battery (ROXXY EVO-Lipo 3-2200 #1-02593) and the original propeller (a 10x4.7 #1-03000), the propulsion has a long autonomy and thus gives you a lot of fun in the air.
A basic radio from four channels is enough to equip it.
The PACER has absolutely ideal flight characteristics, suitable for the abilities of a beginner.
They also provide a lot of fun for experienced riders and are the ideal model for the end of the day.
Thanks to the robust landing gear and soft wheels, take-offs and landings are possible on almost any terrain.
It can therefore be perfectly used for the training of young people (and not so young too...).
In addition to its superb flight characteristics, it also has a great appearance.
