To remedy the obsolescence of short-tube guns and their ineffectiveness in the face of new tanks
Soviet, the Germans equipped their tanks with more powerful long-tube guns. Produced between March 1942 and June 1943, the Ausf.G version was the first variant of the Panzer IV equipped with a KwK 40 L/43 long-tube gun. It also benefited from the addition of additional shielding. Les Panzer IV Ausf.G
fought on all fronts where the Wehrmacht was engaged.
This kit reproduces the successor of the Ausf. F published at the beginning of this year (ref.35374).
