Alpine A110 1600 S 1/24 Heller

The main features of this car are its backbone chassis and a fiberglass/polyester body shell originally manufactured in the Chappe et Gessalin workshops. The rear-mounted, five-bearing, cast-iron Cléon four-cylinder engine allows for excellent weight distribution. Equipped with two Weber twin-choke carburetors, the 1600 S model develops 125 hp (DIN) and reaches a top speed of 215 km/h. The A110 quickly established itself as the benchmark rally car. By 1971, it had become the highest-performing model, racking up numerous prestigious titles, including the famous Monte Carlo Rally. The A110 1600 S was equipped with the engine from the Renault 16 TS.
