Super Astute 2018 (2WD) Kit Tamiya 47381

This re-released version of the Super Astute 2WD buggy assembly kit features updates while retaining much of the design of the original released in 1991. It features a 2.5mm thick FRP chassis with a low center of gravity, as well as a 4-wheel double wishbone suspension using CVA oil shocks, while the metal bearings of the suspension and steering linkage provide precise steering response. The integrated TTC (Tamiya Traction Control) system protects the gears from impacts and provides a stable ride, even on low-grip surfaces, allowing you to enjoy off-road to the fullest. A 0.5 efficient module gear is included. The high-traction front knobby tires and rear square knobby tires provide superb response and impressive cornering. The model comes with a durable and lightweight polycarbonate body and rear spoiler, as well as a protective lower cover.

TTC Overview
The TTC (Tamiya Traction Control System) protects both the internal gears from impacts and limits wheel spin for a more stable ride. Installation is simple and can be done with the unit attached to the model, by removing the cap from the gearbox cover and then adjusting the position of the lock nut. The 0.5 module sprocket provides an efficient ride and excellent acceleration.
