Tamiya is proud to announce an all-new 1/10 RC 2WD off-road buggy model combining classic design, modern equipment and high-level performance. Its all-new chassis is a protective monocoque-cage hybrid that uses a rear trailing arm rear suspension inspired by that of real UTVs (Utility Terrain Vehicles). The new body was designed by the famous Japanese artist Atsushi Arino.
• RC model to assemble scale 1/10.
• New BB-01 2WD rear-wheel drive chassis consisting of a monocoque frame and a protective cage allowing the installation of realistic bodies.
• New double wishbone front suspension.
• New rear arm rear suspension inspired by that of real UTVs.
• Engine installed in rear overhang, inspired by the configuration of real vehicles and optimizing traction.
• Removable rear protective cage by removing screws, facilitating maintenance around the engine.
• Transmission entirely on ball bearings and gimbals.
• TA06 differential allowing a large number of adaptations.
• Hydraulic shock absorbers with constant volume.
• High torque servo rescue.
• Metal-coated beadlock rims with new large-diameter tires.
• Pilot figure and optical blocks for even more realism.
Steering Servo Recommendation:
The steering servo must be low profile to be mounted vertically in the BBX chassis
The mounting tab height must not exceed 17mm.
The maximum height of the servo must not exceed 31.5mm.
