Get ready to enter the speed arena with FTX's DR8 Desert Racer!
Equipped with the first 6S compatible Hobbywing speed controller and a 4274 2000kv brushless engine, the real test will be to find enough space to free the DR8 to its full potential up to 100 km/h!
At these speeds, a solid base is required and the DR8 features robust materials and a proven design, with a reinforced main frame and 3mm aluminum front, 5mm-thick front and rear aluminum suspension towers and components Reinforced molded suspension, all standard to help absorb tumbles at high speed.
The 4WD transmission includes metal gear differentials filled with sealed oil coupled with a spiral toothed exit gable and is complemented by a right tempered steel gear for a robust transmission.
The fully adjustable swivel kneecap suspension, front and rear roll bars and high-boring, adjustable oil-filled shock absorbers all help provide handling and adjustment like running for different terrains.
The DR8 is topped with a classic molded tubular frame inspired by the desert buggy with printed lexan panels and a spare wheel. A detailed interior cockpit for the driver, painted fire extinguishers are all complemented by functional front and rear LED light bars.
All you have to do is decide if you want a 4S or 6S power supply. Just make sure you can handle it!
