Renault AE500 Magnum truck model in 1/24 scale from Italeri reference 3969.
The Renault Magnum marked a clear break with the past in the world of heavy-duty transport vehicles. Introduced in 1990, it immediately stood out for its innovative design, characterized by the angular lines of its cab, designed to optimize on-board comfort during long journeys, making it easily recognizable on the road. The cab was also separated from the chassis and engine compartment to further improve comfort and ergonomics. Over time, it underwent several technical and aesthetic upgrades and was produced until 2013. It can rightly be considered a major player in industrial and commercial transport. The Renault Magnum was awarded the "International Truck of the Year" prize in 1991.
