Rally cars are among the favorite cars of modellers, static or RC and Tamiya certainly meets the expectations of the latter with this RC 1/10 replica of the Volkswagen Golf MK2. This car won the A7 class title of the 1986 World Championship. The A7 category included cars with at least four seats produced in more than 2,500 copies for at least 12 months and with a displacement between 1,600 and 2,000cm3. The Volkswagen Golf Mk.2 GTI was powered by a 1,781cm3 4-stroke petrol in-line 4-cylinder engine developing 195hp.
