Ugears' signature design makes this model exceptional – it's a fun construction and an original decorative element in any home or office.
The Cycliste Automate comes with step-by-step instructions, in color, really easy to follow (in several languages including French) and does not require glue or special tools to be fully assembled.
How the Ugears Automaton Cyclist works:
Although we have no doubt that you will like the appearance of our champion, the main feature is of course the mechanism. Ugears is known for its original approach to mechanical wooden models and this time our engineers used a simple flywheel to create the magic. Start it by pulling the lever to the side of the model and watch the cyclist embark on a race. The steering wheel, the main propulsion element of the model, accumulates kinetic energy due to its weight.
The model is a representation of how the change in weight changes the work of a steering wheel mechanism. The model has a special slot where you can put a coin or screw nut – anything suitable – to increase the weight and change the momentum of the mechanism.

The Cycliste Automate kit is made of high-quality wood from sustainable sources. There's everything you might need for assembly. The parts are laser cut from a plywood board that provides precise cuts. Thus, remove the parts from the boards and then assemble them to create the complete model.
