Catch the wind, feel the salty breeze, go to sea or visit the islands in the beautiful Ocean Beauty Yacht Ugears. This DIY wooden model of a sailboat is a stunning static model with two sparkling paper sails and comes with its own stand for display on a shelf, fireplace or desk. This model is slightly different from other Ugears mechanical models in that the yacht is not equipped with gears and is not driven by a spring or bungee engine. Rather, it is intended to be a decorative object for your home or office.

This do-it-yourself wooden yacht model is equipped with a large curved sail with swivel boom and a triangular jib, both attached to a large mast with boom bars for the starboard and port stays. Candlesticks and a rope railing line the bridge. Two life jackets and an anchor add extra touches of realism. At the stern is a mast to fly the flag of your yacht: leave the white flag blank paper, color it or affix a sticker or print of the national flag or the flag of the yacht club of your choice.

This wooden yacht model in the shape of a 3D puzzle includes a large cockpit with spinning twin wheels (it's Ugears, so there must necessarily be moving parts!) and an open transom to evacuate seawater when you get hit by the stern wave or a rear sea, or when you take a big wave on the nose that breaks on the bridge. The open board also allows you to swim at the stern or to get on and off the model rubber dinghy, towed behind the yacht by a rope (included). The canoe is equipped with miniature oars and locks and can accommodate a figurine of your choice (not included). There is also a surfboard that can be towed for fun or in case you find a great spot near the shore.

The decorative ocean beauty yacht comes with a sturdy presentation base in which the boat slips and extricates. To mount the yacht to safely expose it, simply slide the boat forward so that the keel snaps into the slot of the support. Slide back to easily remove the model when you want to see it more closely!

The yacht has only 95 pieces and is rated "Easy" to assemble, making it a great starter kit for beginners. The construction does not require glue or special tools.
