The front of the model features in detail the buildings, towers, turrets, and parapets of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, including finials, cloisters, cut-out windows, and laser engravings that replicate the look of rocks, masonry, and slate tiles on the roofs. The back of the model features a section of the castle for a more compact design to place it against a wall, which shows hidden interior details such as the Great Hall, the tower staircase, the chambers, and the inner courtyards. A dragon with movable wings hangs from the main tower, reminiscent of the scene in the movie "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" where Harry is chased by a fire-breathing dragon.

The model is recommended for people aged 14 and over, and is of a "Medium" difficulty level with 340 pieces and an estimated assembly time of 6 hours.
