The UGEARS 460 Locomotive with Turnbuckle combines all the technical and artistic innovations that builders have appreciated in our previous models. It is powered by a simple rubber band motor and a set of gears instead of steam; otherwise, its main mechanism looks and functions very similarly to that of a real steam engine. You can see the pistons and valves in operation, transferring power to the locomotive's wheels via a drive system of rods, links, and cranks moving asynchronously. Small details such as the fully detailed cab, its retractable ladder, the boiler decoration, and even the opening coal doors of the turnbuckle are all present. The UGEARS Locomotive with Turnbuckle is the largest model in the range and certainly the most complex to date. Like all other UGEARS-MODELS models, the Locomotive with Turnbuckle comes with a full-color assembly manual.
