Carried by the capricious winds of the voyage, the graceful and elegant Trimaran Mérihobus from Ugears-Models invites you to leave your peaceful port and embark on an exciting marine mechanical adventure.
The Trimaran model is a classic multihull sailboat designed to show many details such as winches, rigging and hulls, making it a very realistic miniature copy of real prototypes.
The sailboat's hull is constructed in a "skeleton" style to ensure good visibility of the mechanism and design, including details such as bulkheads, frames, and beams. The aft rudder blade is steered by lines connected via pontoons to the main wheel at the stern. Fins beneath the side floats provide stability to the structure and create the impression that the model is lifting. The side floats are attached to the main hull by a uniquely crafted frame. Also located on the side floats is a mechanism for launching small boats. This mechanism includes hinged supports and a lifting winch.
The mainsail and staysail on the mast can be hoisted or lowered, just like on real trimarans. The mainsail of the Mérihobus trimaran is positioned on the mast groove with the halyard. The staysail twists onto the boom.

At the bow, under the bowsprit, you'll find the drum winch. The sails are hoisted using a lever. The kit includes several flag designs that you can customize. Create your own design and, using the winch, hoist your flag to the top of the mast. Inside the trimaran is a winch for the anchor. Using a mechanism with elastic bands, the anchor returns automatically.
The designers of the Ugears used a strong but thin white thread for the rigging of the Mérihobus. This prevented the boat's structure from becoming too heavy, even with its many details, while ensuring that the mast and other components remained in position.
And of course, we mustn't forget the finishing touch – a small seahorse carved into the bow of the ship. This unusual sea creature, one variety of which is called a merihobus, owes its unique name to your trimaran.

Take flight with this magnificent beauty of the sea. Where will she take you today – a world cruise? An expedition to wild islands? Leave the turbulent seas of everyday life behind and journey to distant waters with the Ugears-Models Mérihobus trimaran.

The Mérihobus Trimaran kit is made of high-quality, sustainably sourced wood and includes everything you need for assembly. The quality of the parts is excellent: a laser cutting method is used to cut the pieces from a sheet of plywood, resulting in precise cuts. The parts must be removed from the sheets and assembled to create the complete model. Like all other Ugears models, the Mérihobus Trimaran comes with easy-to-follow, full-color, step-by-step instructions (in 11 languages: Ukrainian, English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Italian, Chinese, and Korean) and requires no glue or special tools for complete assembly.
