While browsing through ancient photographic archives, we came across the image of a fun and intelligent transport device, invented at the beginning of the 20th century.
It was a single wheel that could accommodate a driver passenger who seemed so happy to sit in his device. We couldn't help but design one for our collection. So we expanded our research to learn more about the mechanisms to an operatorless wheel, developed as a war machine and covered with armor.

What really inspired us were the prototypes from the 1860s: a mobile exterior element with a fixed mechanism inside.
Our peaceful minds in search of creation and curiosity have taken the best of these two prototypes and today we proudly present the Monowheel Mechanical!
Your new Monowheel is built in pure style Steampunk, which means you can see and appreciate the beauty of moving gears.

Despite its delicate and airy appearance, your new model is quite Robust You can take it out and roll it on hard, semi-hard surfaces.
The parts of the mechanism mimic a real steam engine. The absence of an outer shell makes it easier to access the elastics if you need to replace them.
Two modes of operation guarantee even more fun. The first mode with locked feet allows you to drive continuously straight for about 1.5
2 meters until the elastic motor is completely discharged. After that, the model turns gracefully and stops.
The second mode, when the feet are in the unlocked position, will allow your Monowheel to move forward when the elastic engine is running. After that, the model turns around, its feet hide inside and the model rolls until it encounters an obstacle. In this mode, the model can cover up to 5 meters,

This inspired us to play mechanical bowling using our new model as a bowling ball. We recommend this new sport to all your friends!

The kit Monowheel is made of high quality wood from sustainable sources and has everything you might need for assembly. The quality of the parts is excellent: a laser method is used to cut the parts from a plywood board that provides precise cuts. The pieces must be removed from the boards and assembled to create the complete model. Like all other Ugears models, the Monoroue comes with step-by-step instructions, in color, really easy to follow (in 11 languages: Ukrainian, English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Italian, Chinese and Korean) and does not require no glue or special tools to be fully assembled.
