As you may have noticed, Ugears, we love the sea and marine aircraft inspire our creativity. The idea behind the Tug was to create a functional mechanism with a little extra trick that would make it both down-to-earth and captivating.
The Tugist is driven by an elastic motor powered by the voltage connected to a bearing. The gearbox transfers energy to the drive wheel and then to the asymmetric pair of wheels. The pendulum slows down
and unifies the tug's movement. The asymmetry of the pair of wheels gives the model its unique way of moving,
imitating a boat swaying on the waves, while the working pendulum creates a specific noise similar to that produced by the actual diesel engine, which many boats are equipped with.
The winding key on the motor wheel is blocked by a ratchet gear. There are two control levers, one of which stops the mechanism and the other launches it - these are the stop and start levers.

Use both ropes with hooks to hang and carry small models of wheeled goods or a paper boat. Your tug will move between 1.5 and 3 metres depending on the type of surface.

The Tugkit is made from high-quality wood from sustainable sources and has everything you might need for assembly. The quality of the parts is excellent: a laser method is used to cut the pieces from a plywood board that provides precise cuts. The pieces must be removed from the planks and assembled to create the model.
Like all other Ugears models, the Tugboat comes with step-by-step instructions, in color and really easy to follow in 11 languages (Ukrainian, English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Italian, Chinese and Korean) requires no glue or special tools to be fully assembled.
