The Radiolink T16D with R16F receiver is a 2.4 GHz transceiver set designed for RC projects requiring a high number of channels and extensive programming. This radio offers 16 fully proportional channels , 4096-step resolution, and 100 model memories. It is suitable for airplanes, gliders, helicopters, multirotors, FPV drones, cars, boats, construction vehicles, and radio-controlled robots.

In an RC model, the transmitter sends the pilot's commands to the receiver installed in the model. The channels control the main functions, such as steering, throttle, and control surfaces, as well as auxiliary functions: lights, winch, pump, flight modes, sound, retractable landing gear, and animated accessories. The 16 channels of the T16D thus allow for the configuration of complex models with numerous features.

The T16D uses 2.4 GHz pseudo-random frequency-hopping FHSS transmission across 67 channels. With the FHSS V2.1 protocol and the R16F receiver, the system utilizes all 16 channels. The radio allows you to select a response time of 3 ms, 4 ms, or 14 ms depending on the chosen protocol and the equipment used. It also supports 270° servos when this function is enabled in the compatible settings.

Its 2.8-inch color screen with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution centralizes flight and telemetry information. The interface is available in several languages, including French. The radio features four 2-position switches, three 3-position switches, a trainer switch, two potentiometers, and two center-return sliders. Voice announcements can be customized, making it easier to identify an alarm, function, or mode change during operation.

The Radiolink T16D incorporates programming functions suitable for both aerial and surface models: control throw adjustments, direction reversal, trims, curves, timers, programmable mixes, and auxiliary function management. It features 32 programmable mix groups, particularly useful for coordinating multiple servos or controlling realistic functions on a construction vehicle, scale crawler, boat, or aerial model.

The included Radiolink R16F receiver is a 16-channel model compatible with PWM, SBUS, and CRSF outputs. It is suitable for helicopters, airplanes, gliders, multirotors, cars, boats, and robots. It operates on a 3-12V power supply. The R16F measures 45 × 32 × 15 mm and weighs 17 g. It features IPX4 water splash protection.

The R16F integrates real-time telemetry of model voltage, receiver voltage, and RSSI (Received Signal Quality Indicator). When connected to a compatible flight controller, it can also transmit data such as position, distance, number of satellites, and heading. This feature is particularly useful for aerial platforms, bait boats equipped with a flight controller, or robotic projects incorporating navigation data.

The T16D features a bay for external long-range modules and supports ELRS and TBS Crossfire modules, among others. It can therefore be upgraded to other radio systems depending on the installed module. Both the transmitter and receiver have USB Type-C ports for updates. The T16D can be connected to a computer for use with a compatible RC simulator running Windows or macOS.
