Matte medium/varnish for all types of acrylic paints. Guaranteed 100% flat finish. This varnish can be used in two different ways: Used directly from the pot as a regular varnish after painting to achieve a perfectly flat finish. It can also be used as a flat medium by adding it to acrylic paints. Applying varnish has long been one of the biggest challenges for modelers. Many have ruined models due to the use of poor-quality or unsuitable varnishes for the task at hand, and the fact is that the varnishing process is an extremely important step in the building process. For the first time, AMMO is launching a complete line of varnishes for winning results on every model. These acrylic varnishes will allow you to achieve the best results with both a brush and an airbrush in a very simple way. It should be used in thin coats and can be applied directly from the pot without dilution for a perfect finish. When using an airbrush, we recommend spraying 6 inches (15 cm) from the surface. It is non-toxic and odorless, and dries completely in 24 hours. This new range of varnishes has been carefully developed over a long period to ensure modelers achieve perfect results every time. Will not yellow or alter colors. Perfect for brush and airbrush application. 1. Using an airbrush, apply in light, short passes using an air pressure of 1.2 bar (17 psi), which will cause buildup. 2. Allow at least 5 minutes of drying time between coats. DO NOT flood the surface. 3. Allow to dry completely for 12 hours. No highlighting is necessary. Clean with A.MIG-2000 acrylic thinner or water.
