This widespread version of the US Sherman medium tank equipped with a powerful 76mm gun was produced in 1944-1945 at more than 1,900 copies. The M4A3(76mm) was mainly used in the invasion of Europe from June 1944. The famous 2nd Division French armored was equipped with it.
