Originally released in 2008, this Lotus 78 kit with photo-cut metal parts will again be available with updated decals. The Lotus Type 78 was one of the first ground effect cars in Formula 1. It competed in its first races in 1977, and the Lotus Type 79 - successor to the Type 78 - won the title in 1978.

• New decals included to represent Goodyear logos on the nose and vertical partitions of
front and rear fins
• Functional suspension (coil springs)
• Front wheels that can be steered from the steering wheel
• Detailed reproduction of the DFV engine with ignition cables and hoses
• Front and cockpit fairings, radiator air intakes and removable dorsal
• Photo-cut metal parts including brake and radiator disc faces, vertical fin bulkheads (2 types) and harness buckles.
