After the release of the Nissan Fairlady 240ZG at 1/24 (24360), Tamiya offers the Nissan Fairlady 240Z Street-Custom in the same scale. A true masterpiece in the history of Japanese sports cars, the Fairlady Z was a great success when it was released in 1969, and the range marketed in Japan was joined in 1971 by the 240Z. With its long, sleek nose, fastback coupe design, and 150hp 2.4-liter inline-six engine, the 240Z had exceptional looks and performance that earned it massive popularity around the world. The Street Custom version reproduced here differs mainly from the "standard" 240Z by its shorter nose with spoiler, a front bumper that is added (and more integrated into the nose), its three carburettors (instead of two), its rims and tires, its lowered suspension and its two exhausts instead of one. In the end, an even more aggressive look!
