Like its glorious predecessor, the Xsara, the Citroën C4 WRC is equipped with all-wheel drive, a 2-litre turbo engine and a six-speed transverse gearbox. What makes the C4 WRC special is its length of 4.20 m, which makes it longer than the Xsara, meaning that its width could be increased from 1.77 to 1.80 m in accordance with the regulations. This change theoretically gives it better stability in corners.
