About the NISMO R34 GT-R Z-tune
The NISMO team took 20 pristine Nissan Skyline GT-Rs (R34s) and hand-built them into a fully customized supercar, the Z-tune. Unveiled at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show, the Z-tune featured major internal mechanical upgrades, including a supercharged 2.8L twin-turbo engine producing 500 hp, a special Sachs suspension system, brakes developed in collaboration with Brembo engineers, and a lightweight carbon fiber body. Packed with race-derived parts while delivering excellent power and handling, the Z-tune was hailed as the ultimate road car, combining luxury with superior performance.
