Beautiful Messerschmitt BF110C-3/C-4 aircraft in 1/72 scale from Italeri reference 074.
This multi-purpose twin-engine heavy fighter was widely used by the German air force in various operational roles: interceptor, fighter-bomber, reconnaissance aircraft and night fighter. Its two Daimler-Benz DB 601 engines, capable of delivering 1,200 hp, allowed it to reach a maximum speed of 560 km/h. The C and D versions were widely used on all fronts from the early stages of the war. Heavily armed with two 20mm cannons, four 7.92mm machine guns and a rear machine gun for self-defense, it could carry additional bombs or tanks under the wings to increase its operational autonomy.
