With its 2,000 hp engine and characteristic inverted gull wings, the F4U Corsair was an excellent fighter that served on the front lines from World War II to the Korean War. This kit features the variant of the F4U-1A, which entered service in the summer of 1943 and has been used as a mount for many aces in the US Navy and Marine Corps. Its features, such as the taller seat, longer tail wheel, and improved canopy, have been faithfully reproduced, and the wings can even be assembled in the folded position. Parts for 453kg bombs, drop tanks, two pilot minifigures, and two marking options are included.
