F-35B Lightning II aircraft in 1/72 scale of Tamiya brand reference 60793.
The F-35 Ligntning II saga continues at Tamiya! After the releases of the F-35A 1/48 (61124) and 1/72 (60792) and the F-35B 1/48 (61125), here is the kit of the F-35B in 1/72. It focuses on the reproduction of the aircraft in the vertical landing phase. Two types of assembly are possible, landed on the ground or hovering. Although it is an F-35 like the ref. 60792, more than 60% of the parts are newly designed for this kit.
• 1/72 scale assembly kit. Wingspan: 148mm, Length: 215mm.
• Intricate stealthy shapes of the fuselage and flight surfaces faithfully reproduced with all the details in relief or recess.
• Realistic representation of the radar wave absorption material (RAM) on the airframe.
• The model can be assembled with two situations to choose from: landed or hovering.
• Vertically oriented nozzle, open fan doors and armament bay hatches ajar.
• Gear legs compressed (landing) or relaxed (hovering).
• Meticulously reproduced noselash/blower bay module.
