Italeri F-84G Thunderjet 1/72 scale aircraft model kit, part number 1321.
The F-84 Th underjet was developed immediately after World War II by Republic Aviation to provide the USAF with a new jet fighter-bomber. Its structure was simple but robust, with a large circular front air intake, straight wings, and tricycle landing gear. The General Electric/Allison J35 engine enabled the F-84 to reach 1.000km/h . The F-84G, produced from 1951, is one of the last versions of the aircraft. In addition to the USAF, it was used by many NATO countries, including Italy and France. It was armed with six 12.7 mm machine guns and could carry an offensive load of nearly 900 kg.
