The RENAULT 4 CV was presented at the first post-war Paris Motor Show in October 1946. Drawn under bombardment, completed in a France still rationed, the small "car for all" of the engineer Ferdinand Picard will be the vehicle of newfound freedom and a better life. Both a family and a city car, a small road car robust, sober and cheap, the 4CV will be the first French car to exceed the one million units produced: 1,105,547 in 14 years of career.
