Armored model Sd.Kfz.234/2 Puma in scale 1/35 of Italeri reference 6572.
The Heavy Armoured Car Schwerer Panzerspähwagen Sd.Kfz. 234/2 "Puma" was developed and produced by the German military industry during the last years of World War II. The project was an excellent blend of mobility, protection and firepower and was able to synthesize the operational experience that the Wehrmacht had accumulated in the early years of the war. Already since 1939, the German army has been using machine guns very effectively for forward reconnaissance and support to troops. The "Puma" was also born as a reconnaissance vehicle but thanks to its KwK 39 L/60 50 mm gun it could also be used effectively in offensive actions against infantry and armored vehicles. It was used on both the Eastern and Western Front even if in limited volumes. Thanks to the efficient eight-wheel independent suspension system and the powerful engine, it could reach a speed of 90 km/h and guarantee good performance on all types of terrain.
