Model BMW 320 Group 5 scale 1/24 of Italeri reference 3626.
In 1976, the FIA introduced the new Group 5 with specific regulations, reserved for "special" production cars. The new standards imposed a body width similar to that of series production, but with fender wideners allowing wider tires to be fitted. BMW has entered in Group 5 a dedicated version of its new top-of-the-range model, the E21 "320" equipped with a powerful engine capable of delivering 300hp. The car was successfully used by the BMW factory team and was also used to train promising young drivers.
