Leclerc T5/T6 1/35 Heller tank

The Leclerc, the main vehicle on the land battlefield, was designed around three fundamental principles: mobility, firepower and protection, to which communication was added. Served by a crew of three men (commander, gunner, pilot), capable of resisting the most severe aggressions of high-intensity combat, and of dealing with the most hardened targets, it can assume all the missions assigned to armored force units, whatever the environment (Nuclear, Bacteriological and Chemical protection), the type and form of engagement. Its very compact dimensions make a significant contribution to its safety. It is protected by a very high-hardness steel structure, by add-on elements mounted as required (evolutionary protection) and by electronic countermeasures. The 1500 hp of its powertrain ensure very good off-road mobility (40 to 50 km/h average) and a maximum speed of 70 km/h. Its range is 500 to 650 km thanks to 1300 l tanks and two 400 l jettisonable drums.
