Model Porsche Carrera RSR Turbo in scale 1/24 of Italeri reference 3625.
The Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera RSR was produced in four copies in 1974 to participate in the World Manufacturers' Championship of the same year. Porsche Usine entered one and sometimes two cars in the colours of the Martini Racing Team. They were entrusted to the official Muller/Van Lennep and Koinigg/Schurti crews. Although they had almost the same power (about 500hp) as their rivals, the Porsches had neither the lightness nor the maneuverability of the latter, which raced in the Prototype category. However, their speed and reliability led to honourable results in all nine races of the season, including two second places: one at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and one at the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen.
