M1A1 Abrams UKRAINE tank in 1/35 scale of Tamiya brand reference 25216.
In January 2023, the U.S. government announced that M1 Abrams tanks would be supplied to Ukraine. As of May 2023, the expected number was around 30. After training in Germany, it was envisaged that the tanks would arrive in units in the autumn. It is believed that these tanks will retain the standard three-tone NATO camouflage (green, black and brown) and that they will carry a white cross, a symbol historically used in Ukraine by groups such as the Cossacks. After the Leopard 2 A6 "Ukraine" (25207), Tamiya offers a 1/35 scale reproduction of an M1A1 Abrams in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This kit based on the ref.35156 M1A1 Abrams with 120mm barrel includes a decals sheet with Ukrainian markings (the same as those of ref.25207).
