1:35 scale M8 Greyhound Vehicle Model from Italeri reference 6364.
At the start of World War II, the U.S. Army had light, lightly armed "scout cars" for forward reconnaissance missions. Developed during the war, the M8 Greyhound armored vehicle, which offered better protection and heavier weaponry, represented a turning point for the U.S. military. This vehicle offers greater operational flexibility and can be used more effectively to support ground troops thanks to the 37mm gun installed in the turret. First used on the Italian front, from Monte Cassino to Anzio, it then took part in D-Day operations in June 1944. Although the terrain of Normandy proved difficult and demanding at the beginning of the operation, the M8 was later appreciated for its speed of movement and versatility. It has been used not only by the U.S. military, but also by many allied countries.
